求教两道GWD-TN-5的逻辑

1A significant number of complex repair jobs carried out by Ace Repairs have to be reworked under the company’s warranty.The reworked jobs are invariably satisfactory.When initial repairs are inadequate, therefore, it is not because the mechanics lack competence; rather, there is clearly a level of focused concentration that complex repairs require that is elicited more reliably by rework jobs than by first-time jobs.



The argument above assumes which of the following?



A.There is no systematic difference in membership between the group of mechanics who do first-time jobs and the group of those who do rework jobs.

这道题选A,难道是说P的打印机不需要使用新的cartridges,所以在成本上还是有优势的吗?望牛人解答!

第一题解答:
原文意思:一个维修公司有保修服务第一次修不好会再来修第二次。 第二次的得到了客户一致的满意。因此推出结论第一次维修的不足不是因为能力问题, 而是专心的态度问题。问assumption. 答案是a,意思是第一次和第二次维修是同一帮人。因为是同一帮人,因此能力是一样的,只能是专心程度的问题。

第二题解答:
原文意思:一个公司的一个部门制作打印机和墨水盒,公司因为竞争激烈,只能让打印机降价增加了销售量。因为无法减少制作打印机的成本,尽管销售打印机的数量增加了,这个部门还是不能提供以前的利润给公司。问哪个答案削弱此结论?
我的一个想法就是 “有什么别的办法能让这个部门增加利润?” 这个部门制作 打印机和墨水盒两个产品,打印机不能,那墨水卖的怎么样?
答案是a: 答案的意思 这种打印机在常规使用中需要经常换墨水,而且他的打印机只能用他自己的牌子的墨水。
答案解释:因为打印机卖的比以前多了,代表市场上用他们公司的打印机多了,因此需要他们的墨水比原来多了,导出墨水增加了部门的利润(当然文中没有提到的前提是墨水并没有降价)。

第一道题目
结论是:两次维修后让人满意
退出来的条件是:第二阶段的维修比第一段工人的维修更认真

这之间存在一个假设也就是工人的技术水平是一样的,因此更为专注的心态导致了第二遍维修的高满意度。
这个GAP就是文中的assumption,补齐即可

Argument clearly says rework is not because the mechanics lack competence
that means there is an assumption that A. There is no systematic difference in membership between the group of mechanics who do first-time jobs and the group of those who do rework jobs.

Hi,

the passage states that the first level of repair is not of good quality but the second level of repair work is good.
it immediately comes to the conclusion that Mechanics concenteration is the reason behind the level of work.
If this has to be true or for anyother worker related argument to be true, the passage should first state / assume that the Mechanics at both levels are equally qualified and their work environment is the same.

我按照我的理解说吧:
原文的大致意思是:AR公司有大量复杂的修理要求返工。返工的工作总是让人满意的。因此,当第一遍没完全修好时,不是因为维修人员能力不行而是因为有一个a level of  focused concentration使得返工比第一遍修理更加可靠(也就是这个返工要求比第一次更加认真专心)。
那就是说,因为这个公司的repair work侧重于在返修时更认真,那么有了返修这个保障,第一次可能就没这么认真了
这里,reasoning line:  rework总是让人满意--->gap---> initial work不好不是因为能力不行,原因是返工要求比第一次更加认真专注
这里的gap是什么呢?假如intial work是学徒或者新手,而返修的是熟练工,那么initial work也会做得不好,返修后也会让人满意,那就不是专不专心的问题了。
而A选项中,前后两次work都是同一水平的人,那么你的技术摆在那里,干不干得好就取决于你认不认真了。
