考到了一篇JJ没出现的长阅读，讲的是Crater LAker clarity下降的原因

P1.Carter Lake一度Clarity decline严重。 Larsen这个人说这个Crater Lake clarity 下降是因为湖周边Sewage的排放，导致污染物进入湖中。在Sewage取消了之后 Clarity有上升。 L举例 Lake Tahoe（阿萨萨北美吐槽君经典）来支持他的观点。说LakeTahoe之前就是因为Sewage的排放，才Clarity下降的。为了证明这个观点，他们想去进行实验 or study to prove 这个 Sewage 跟 clarity之间的关系。然而还没等去证明， crater lake周围Sewage都被取消了。也就是说他们没有得到确切的证明（最后一句有题，说想要进行但是没有进行成的实验，我们可以infer出什么）

P2 第二种hypothesis 说其实the clarity of the lake is related to the amount of zooplankton in the lake. Clarity declined bacause zooplankton has fertile nutritions to grow. Because there are vents in the bottom of the lake, many springs around Crater LAke flows in , contimanations come into the lake through the vents. nitrogen amount increased because of the contaminated water, providing neutritions for zooplankton in the lake. 所以可见度降低了。 B这人就开始提出不同的观点了。 B说其实啊warm water导致了这些悲剧的发生。 Bottom Of lake富含Nitrogen， Warm water遇冷形成的convection 导致warm water在水体中上升，把河底的那些nitrogen都带到了Surface water，又为这些海藻提供了繁殖所需的N。所这个理论在187X年就形成了，但是在18XX年，才拿到研究数据来 support这个关点。Crater Lake中百分之八十的N都是因为河底N被convection 带到Surface，导致zooplankton增多 Clarity降低。这个实验也证明， Sewage 不是Clarity降低的最主要原因，尽管他是一部分原因。

讲multinational company的multicultural的，文章不长就一段，但是没有分段，阅读起来觉得很乱

【新考古】
12． multinational company
新文章. 讲multinational company的主要方向是reengineering, XX, and XX 忘记了. 而大多数公司都作到的. 所以公司新的定位是朝multicultural方向走, 它们想成为multicultral-multinational companies. 这样是有好处的, 因为通过增加世界各地的division plants, 公司可以hire local people, 从而通过它们得到 local knowledge. 也解决了cultural differences的问题(就是列出multicultural的好处). 但是, multicultural跟multinational company的另一 "goal" 有 contradiction. 那个goal就是 "global standardization", global standardization 是公司通过减少 division plants 和降低 unit costs 来得到profits. 最后, 作者得到的结论就是company只能achieve one way or the other. 就是either "global standardization" or "multinational". 公司不可能两者都能达到.
