【求定位】2017Fall，PE背景，G750，求定位及建议

选校定位方面比较迷茫。。还请各位大神帮忙解惑：

港本top3商学院毕业，在港工作三年，GPA3.4（WES3.56），一年四大银行后台经验，2年PE经验（不知名小公司，两年内完整跟过四五个项目，内部分析过手的有六七十个），CFA明年考三级。G750，T将要考，目标110。社团活动若干，基本是兴趣类型的。

短期目标暂时设定为2017Fall去美国读书，之后回内地，找一家比较成熟的M&A或者PE/VC，多见识标准的流程和磨炼technical skills。长期目标想去互联网企的M&A部门或者创业公司，或者继续待在PE，或者转行也说不定。。

如果申请MBA的话，三年经验可以尝试S16吗？另外由于已经辞职了，如果申请期间暂时没有新工作line up的话，申请上会不会有concern呢？或者有没有商学院的其他master项目合适的。。

问题出在真实career goals
看得出来现在缺乏动机
已经有PE经验了，又why mba
不是只图network，而是要扩大视野与思考质量
goals目前还太发散，多半是因为自我了解不足
要从个性养成与职业兴趣技能来做探讨
然后投射到实际的市场与社会贡献
其所出现的方向就是真实生涯目标
中间的gap，自然就可以算出是不是要现在进修，是要念什么，在哪念
然后出来就是事业，而不再是工作了，又能以最轻松热情的方式，做别人怎样都做不到的事
之后专注热情向前，一段时间后就会突破人类极限，创造潮流

有一年经验G 6字头就进s16的，只是普通背景
也有3年经验，career gap一年，s16还拿奖的
分数都勉强见7
所以这资历绰绰有余
重点在gap这一年发生什么事
另外G750，T是一定可以破110的
要拿下来

另外也可以思考何不继续往上爬
现在停下来可能是现阶段做腻了
向上又有gap，才会选个MBA来念
但要小心不要让念书变逃生门

Wow interesting, I didnt know that. anyway I suggest you try Top 10.

yes we do... most schools waive TOEFL for foreigners only if the university teaches all courses in English exclusively, which is not the case for our university... 摊手

Hey there,
So yes, not working when you apply can be a problem. Because the most important thing for Bschool is your work experience, and if you aren’t advancing…. It doesn't mean you CAN’T get in, but it will make it harder. So now that your GMAT is done, I would suggest looking for another PE job (the better the job, the better for you).

But whatever the case, make sure you aren’t doing nothing for the next year and a half. The Bschools want to see that you have a PLAN. And that you are working to it.

Otherwise, if you have that, and some  good extras, I think S16 can be reasonable.
