1.         Some people believe that the best way of learning about life is by listening to the advice of family and friends. Other people believe that the best way of learning about life is through personal experience. Compare the advantages of these two different ways of learning about life. 另一个.有关 optical farbic,在telephone中的运用  说了glass , light  角度反射,有图. 什么是total reflection .大概就是怎样运用反射的原理保证声音在传送中能量不会减少. Sorry, I can't remember clearly. But this one is not so difficult.

Structure:

1....such substances as air, land , and water.... (I am not sure if "substances" here is wrong)

2. ...free to air pollution

Reading : appreciable=noticeable , vast = extensive, indigenous=native
