在重温XDF补充材料第一篇第4题时，心里直发毛并有疑问，请大家帮忙解答，谢谢！

首先，在读the failure of a large business to have its bids for subcontracts result quickly in orders …时，心里很不舒服，为什么不用动名词having 做介词of的宾语，而用不定式？如果将该题干中的the failure of 这个介词结构整个划线作为SC改错，有多少人会选不定式to 呢？

其次，问题中的its和it 都是指 a large business, 而答案(A)却是small business 在failure 时有的结果，答案(E)是不是更好，大公司招标失败了，自己改自己的问题，以便再次发标。

谢谢! Pumpkin，是我考虑太多，并基于自己的实际工作经验来考虑。实际工作中，小公司在失去系列subcontracts的首个时，他的财务状况不会太suffer，正好是not serious harm. 而按文中说曾经获得之后thereafter又再次failure时才会有crippling fixed expense。

我后来看了一下，该段末尾一句指出small business只要失去orders, financial health 就会suffer,包括了首个合同，这样就都要suffer了。

我考虑该题是受到自己工作经验的影响，我要注意改正，只基于文章来考虑。再次谢谢Pumpkin,
