首先，和很多前辈讲的一样，我也不推崇修改答案来比哪个正确。

其次，单从语法角度来看的话，我以为以上的改法也是不好的。OG中曾经多次强调并列分句之间要用逗号隔开，那么至少BUT/AND前要加逗号，分句中的主谓要补齐。如果你不用逗号，BUT/AND连接的就必须是语法平行的结构，通常为名词或分句，此时可共用一个谓语，例子如下：

He said that he was busy today but that he would be free tomorrow.
