以后读书移民，新加坡和美国相差有多大

我表弟打算申请MBA考虑美国或者新加坡
我劝他不要去新加坡，和发达国家差距大
他不信

希望坛子里面的高手答疑一下，从读书以及以后移民来看，新加坡和美帝差距到底多大

我受不了东南亚英语

坡国也没楼主说的这么差吧。。。好多大公司的headquarter都在坡国，实习就业也都机会多多呢

在坡生活学习了5年的人过来说说。
单看MBA质量的话，坡上的MBA肯定要比北美MBA差出很多来，除了INSEAD和M7可以一战。
但是从移民角度考虑，新加坡的移民简直不要太简单（相比于美国）...而且新加坡的税很低很低，比中国低多了，和美国没比过，但是我相信比美国低不少，不然扎克伯格为啥移民新加坡了呢。至少买个房没有啥property tax
至于东南亚英语，在新加坡还是练练Singlish吧，闽南话马来语啥的也摸一点。
而且日后中国强大了，新加坡也会更多的和中国合作。
所以从长远的角度来看，我觉得去美国读MBA，然后relocate到新加坡的office，最后移民新加坡会是一个比较好的选择。
对了，坡上的格局比较小，在意的话也要慎重考虑一下

Well everything depends on his goal and desire. Actually salaries in Singapore are good, and there are great jobs to be had too. It makes sense to go to Singapore if he wants to stay in Asia. But it is true that the programs in the US are in fact more prestigious. And there are more jobs and better salaries.
But really he has to make the life choices that will make HIM happy.

Thanks dude,

but as we are not so sure about the difference, let's put it this way, if he wants to move back to pursue his career in China, 1 will US be a much better choice ?

2 how about the diffrernce in vision between 2 countries ?

如果未来长期打算是回到中国来的话，那个选择更好？

请问新加坡格局小这一点怎么说？只是听朋友说那边人天天计较1块2块的。。。。。

回国的话我也不好说，我周围也没有太多可参考的例子。我只是凭感觉认为还是美国更好一些。

至于格局小，计较1块2块这个也算一种表现吧哈哈。我觉得格局小，主要是前几年和新加坡本地人交流后留下来的印象，大家都被李家政府调教的太老实了，呆久了让我觉得眼界变小，心态变老了，温水煮青蛙那种生活我还不是很习惯。

Hey,
In general, in China from my experience, US schools are considered more prestigious. Of course it will depend on WHICH school we are talking about. On the other hand, Singpaore which might offer less in terms of prestige, might offer more interesting Asian contacts
Really it’s a matter of choice. My suggestion would be apply to both US AND Singaporean schools, see where he gets in, and THEN decide based on the specific schools.

移民新加坡比起移民美国来说简单太多了，而且对于亚洲人来说可能生活在新加坡比在美国要舒服很多。我一个华裔美籍的同事最近刚从美国office申请调到新加坡office，而且打算以后在新加坡久居了
