再问OG11中，based on 和 basing on

C选项，是因为with已有用的意思，后面的又一个using就多余了！这么理解可否？

OG说D选项是：D By the accounts... they used is an unidiomatic and roundabout way of saying that scholars used the accounts.不是太明白BY结构，可否随便讲讲

请教basing的用法？

base A on B，我查了一下词典的讲解：

if u base one thing on another thing,the first thing develops the second thing.

但是我所看到的大部分都是用的based，for example：

He based his conclusions on the evidence given by the captured prisoners.

什么情况下用basing on?

base作为动词时是及物的，所以base的合理结构是base A on B，由此可见it是不可少的。例：多用于被动态　　　This news report is based entirely on fact。　这篇新闻报导是完全根据实际情况写成的　　　

主动态：One should always base one's opinions on facts.　意见应以事实为根据。即 Basing one's opinions on facts,one---　才对，其它的都可以按这套的

能不能提供一些例句。我翻遍了大全和词典也没有找到basing用对的例子，印象中曾做过一题，可惜找不到。
