再问OG11中，based on 和 basing on

感觉还是没有E好, 虽然语法上面是正确的.

但是对于C, 我还是不敢说就一定语法上面是对的, 但是确实挑不出什么语法上面的缺点来, 除非说后面的used for a basis是有修饰前面名词恶歧义, 但是确实太牵强, 大家给点意见吧.

说说个人意见，拿CE对比：

C可以说是独立主格结构，也可以说是介词+名词（表示主句主语的scholars拥有之意，这种意思在

OG上有一题，题号忘了，是关于美国人少但能源消耗多那题），但不管哪种用法，都没有表达主动意思的动词using 直接，

表达笨拙。这一题体现了ETS的要求叙事直接/简洁的风格；大白话就

是：能直接说就直接说嘛，你绕弯干啥?

我的观点: 不要改了选项再来讨论哪个好, 因为没有定论.

但既然说到这里, 我来谈谈我的看法: with + n. 在句首表示physically拥有, 相比之下, with更强调一种状态. 而using纯粹就是一个动作, 即"使用". 个人认为用using简洁, 明确清晰, 何乐而不为? 这一点, 我同意楼上的观点.

楼上说的另外一个例子应该是这个吧:

158. With only 5 percent of the world's population, United States citizens consume 28 percent of its nonrenewable resources, drive more than one-third of its automobiles, and use 21 times more water per capita than Europeans do.

这道题的正确答案是E, 而且OG明确强调不能用with表达拥有之意: and only E, the best choice, expresses meaning accurately with the phrase Although accounting for. With in choice A and Despite having in choice D confusingly suggest that United States citizens somehow possess, rather than constitute, 5 percent of the world's population.
