神马rounded to the nearest xx miles, nearest gallon, 是什么意思呢？整个句子如何翻译？题干看不懂，求助各位！

rounded to the nearest 10 miles = 285 becomes 290 and 295 becomes 290

rounded to the nearest gallon = 11.5 gallons becomes 12 gallons and 12.5 gallons become 12 gallons

What the question asks is the range, which is between 285/12.5 mpg and 295/11.5 mpg.

为什么rounded to the nearest 10 miles=285 becomes 290 and 295 becomes 290？若是四舍五入，为啥285变成290，而295不变成300呢？四舍五入的话5不应该进到十位吗？最小不应该是294吗？294的话不是才应该舍去4变成290么？哪个rounded to the nearest 10 miles到底是啥意思啊？
还有og解释上说的The lowest number of miles per gallon can be calculated using the lowest possible miles and the highest amount of gasoline.Also,the highest number of miles per gallon can be calculated using the highest possible miles and the lowest amount of gasoline.
Og 的解释一点没弄面白。这句不明白，上句285--295=290 11.5--12.5变成12那个也不懂。

285 and 295 are the limits (extremes) of numbers can be rounded to 290.

We are looking at the boundaries here . . .

Same with 11.5-12.5 rounded to 12.

还是没明白，round to是中文的四舍五入吗？
