the tips left by customers who pay their bill in cash tend to be larger when the bill is presented on a tray that bears a credit-card logo.  Consumer psychologists hypothesize that simply seeing a credit-card logo makes many credit-card holders willing to spend more because it reminds them that their spending power exceeds the cash they have immediately available.

最后一个是说:当一种信用卡的标志印在承bill的盘子上,这种信用卡的应用比例就上升了。这和小费没什么关系啊,即使logo能让人想起用这种用信用卡,也不代表会出更多小费。
