之前也看过gemj写的，我想问这里之所以选E不是因为in that吧，而是后面的tissues？

这道题的区别其实不在in that 和because，而是在2点：1、such as； 2、同位语从句。
其实“not normally found in the organ in which the tumor appears.”是修饰tissues的，所以前面必须加个这个词。A的话就会造成歧义修饰bone。如果A选项加了 tissues的话，那A更好，因为OG里有“in that”是比较正规的用法，不是很常见的说法。

OG里说in that是过时了，同意楼上的回答。不要过分的抠语法，要看句子的流畅度，和要表达的主次或层次，一层一层关系要清晰，OG的宗旨
