Mr. Janeck: I don’t believe Stevenson will win the election for governor. Few voters are willing to elect a businessman with no political experience to such a responsible public office.
Ms. Siuzdak: You’re wrong. The experience of running a major corporation is a valuable preparation for the task of running a state government.
M. Siuzdak’s response shows that she has interpreted Mr. Janeck’s remark to imply which of the following?
(A) Mr. Janeck considers Stevenson unqualified for the office of governor.
(B) No candidate without political experience has ever been elected governor of a state.
(C) Mr. Janeck believes that political leadership and business leadership are closely analogous.
(D) A career spent in the pursuit of profit can be an impediment to one’s ability to run a state government fairly.
(E) Voters generally overestimate the value of political experience when selecting a candidate.

THE ANSWER IS A WHILE I CHOSE E. I UNDERSTAND A BUT I JUST CANNOT FIGURE OUT WHY E CANNOT BE CHOSEN.
I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR HELP,THX!

This is a must-be-true type of question.

Only A is true based on the stimulus.  E is possibly true, but not absolutely true.

这个不是个手法题么(PS干嘛大家都用英语。。。看得累死了)
然后搂住选E的话,估计没仔细看题目问的什么:shows that she has interpreted Mr. Janeck’s remark to imply which of the following?
问的是S认为J的表述表示了什么,然后题目上面很清楚的说J表示很多选民不会选,而S反驳的是够格~
个人意见啊,大家讨论嘿
楼主你这个哪个上面的题啊,OG上木有见过

还是不理解问题啊,这个to imply which of the following 不是做interpret的目的状语吗?那她interpret J的remark 来暗示的是自己的看法啊?怎么会是J的看法呢?
还是to imply which of the following 是做remark的定语?

she has interpreted Mr. Janeck’s remark to imply which of the following?

--she has treated/ Mr. Janeck's remark as stating which of the following?
or
--she thought that Mr. Janeck was saying which of the following?

My personal view: Ms. Siuzdak is expressing her own opinions. The statement in E cannot be implied from what the two said, since Ms. Siuzdak is not talking about anything on political experience---what she want to express is that the candidate has an experience in running mayor and that experience helped him a lot in running the governor, therefore, he is qualified!
Hope it helps~~~
