这个，答案E。可觉得E不相关额。。。木有提到its designers did not plan for such a contingency。。。

B：看了几个讨论贴还是想不通。。。Yes：cotton that does not produce the insecticide are suffering unusually extensive damage from bollworms this year 能说明什么呢？回答No:这个更不能回答。。。

57的E是说如果事先没有考虑到偶然性就会发生意想不到的结果，就会使response不确定，正好与题干中unpredictable对应。而D的depend on location不能对应题干中的unexpected circumstances 。
70.如果普通的棉花遭受了巨大损失，那么可以说明题干中的结论，即overwhelmed by corn-bred bollworms，因为虫子太多，不仅给 bioengineered cotton 带来损失，更给普通的棉花带来损失。如果普通棉花没有遭受巨大损失，那么就可以断定题干中的那个结论不成立，因为文中说了虫子还没有对bioengineered cotton产生抗药性，所以会更加偏好普通棉花，因而普通棉花受损失程度应该更大才对。
