问一下关于一条prep的数学题

A certain city with a population of 132,000 is to be divided into 11 voting districts, and no district is to have a population that is more than 10% greater than the population of any other district. What is the minimum possible population that the least populated district could have?

A. 10,700
B. 10,800
C. 10,900
D. 11,000
E. 11,100

这题想不到解法....如果一一列举11个district好像太多了. 考虑到用等比求和公式, 但是现场的话1.1的11次方很难求啊.....求大牛看看. 答案是D

p+10*(1.1p)=132000
12p=132,000
p=11,000

明白了.....极端的思维是除了最少人的那一个district, 其他都是它的1.1倍. 这样那个district就是最少人了.

不是等差数列, 因为如果是这样子, 拿最多和最少的相比, 就不止10% increase了, 不符合题目.

两点要在同一象限，必须是两点的X坐标和y坐标的乘积都大于0
从If ab≠0 and point (-a,b) and (b,-a) are in the same quadrant of the xy-plane中可以得出-ab>0
要使point (-x,y) 在同一象限，必须满足 (-a)*(-x)>0,即ax>0. 这个由条件2 “ax >0”可以满足，，，但同时还必须满足by>0, 由于已经得出-ab>0和ax>0，可以求得bx<0. 由于条件1给出的“ xy > 0”，可以求得by<0, 这个跟所要求的“by>0”不符，所以不在同一象限。

PS：这题的关键需要理解，当-ab>0和ax>0时，因为两个不等式里a是相同的且同时大于0，因此可得 -b和x是同号，即－bx>0
