1. DS If 500 is the multiple of 100 that is closest to x and 400 is the multiple of 100 that is closest to y, which multiple of 100 is closest to x+y？
（1）x<500
(2) y <400

答案是E；其实我想说我没看明白问题是什么意思，什么叫500 is the multiple of 100 that is closest to x?

2.DS If the drama club and music club are combined, what percent of the combined membership will be male?

(1) Of the 16 members of the drama club, 15 are males.
(2) Of the 20 memebers of the music club, 10 are males.

答案是E；我选的C。。。

第一题的话，我个人用的是非常笨的方法带数字算的。首先单独的条件一或者条件二肯定不能判断。然后combine一下吧。如果X=499，y=399，那个答案应该是900.但是如果X=451，y=351的话，答案就是800，所以选E。
第二题的话，我的理解是由于题目没有说有没有人两个menbership都有这种情况，所以不能排除有人double计算，选E！

着句话我理解就是：500是最接近x的整百的数（100的倍数）

800<x+y<1000
(1) x<500 所以800<x+y<950,不能确定x+y是离800比较近还是900
(2) y<400 所以800<x+y<950,不能确定x+y是离800比较近还是900

(1)和(2)同时成立，800<x+y<900,同样不能确定x+y离800比较近还是900
所以选E
