原题说，REGULATION施行以后，看见的鸟变多了，但是并没有说“AIR-POLLUTION减少了”，所以A不是直接的ASSUMPTION。

我爱宝宝 mm，我觉得A错误是因为ALMOST ENTIRELY，即使其他MAJOR CITIES的污染问题不是ALMOST ENTIRELY由LOCAL INDUSTRY决定，只是部份由LOCAL INDUSTRY决定，我们仍然可以将SIMILAR RULES用在OTHER MAJOR CITIES。

结论 : Similar air-pollution rules should be imposed in other major cities

我这题觉得A的almost entirely有问题,但是比起D:鸟的增加在城市里是必须的,此选项既没有跟pollution有连结,也没有跟regulation有关联, 实在觉得D比较像是答案

D:之所以对是因为: desirable adj: formal. 1. someting that is desirable is worth having or doing because it is is useful or popular:

取非一下,绝对的削弱. 鸟的增加在城市里是is no worth having or doing. 断开了前提和结论之间的关系.

前提 : In the years since the city of London imposed strict air-pollution regulations on local industry->à the number of bird species seen in and around London has increased dramatically.

结论 : Similar air-pollution rules should be imposed in other major cities

(A) In most major cities, air-pollution problems are caused almost entirely by local industry. 取非: air-pollution problems 不完全是local industry 导致的.就是说air-pollution problems是其他一个部分. 没有办法削弱结论.

楼上的各位妹妹, 对于假设题, 反复强调取非削弱的ETS定义. 尤其对于有疑问的题,一定要取非验证.
