In the figure, each side of square ABCD has length 1, the length of line segment CE is 1, and the length of line segment BE is equal to the length of line segment DE.What is the area of the triangular region BCE?

1. BCE and CCE have three identical sides. Therefore angle BCE = 135 degree with BC and CE equal 1.

31 Total possibilitises: 8*7*6/(3*2) =56
Total possibilities you won't have any F magazine in the 3 chosen ones = 4*3*2/(3*2) = 4

52/56 = 13/14

还是不明白BCE＝135度的由来，以及对计算三角形BCE面积的作用，

oh...my method was that: used the area of EBD to subtract that of CBD, the remaining area then divided by 2, ( i think ebc and edc were the same,in terms of area)

what do you think?

correct me if i am wrong.
