If t is a positive integer and r is the remainder when t² + 5t + 6 is divided by 7, what is the value of r ?

(1) When t is divided by 7, the remainder is 6.

(2) When t²is divided by 7, the remainder is 1.

【答案】A

【思路】題目t² + 5t + 6=t(t+5)+6

(1)
t²+ 5t + 6=t(t+5)+6,表示t(t+5),可以被7整除,the remainder is 6 =r
(2) t²=7y+1,當t=6 , t²+5t + 6=36+30+6=72, the remainder=2=r

t=8, t²+5t + 6=64+40+6=110, the remainder=5=r

在這個情況下,無法得知the value of r, insufficient

运用余数定理

a与b的和除以c的余数（a、b两数除以c在没有余数的情况下除外），等于a，b分别除以c的余数之和（或这个和除以c的余数）。

a与b的乘积除以c的余数，等于a，b分别除以c的余数之积（或这个积除以c的余数）。

如果a，b除以c的余数相同，那么a与b的差能被c整除。
