请教一道GWD数学DS

A construction company was paid a total of $500,000 for a construction project. The company’s only costs for the project were for labor and materials. Was the company’s profit for the project greater than $150,000?
(1)    The company’s total cost was three times its cost for materials.
(2)    The company’s profit was greater than its cost for labor.

A. Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient.
B. Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient.
C. BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient.
D. EACH statement ALONE is sufficient.
E. Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient

500,000由三部分组成，L(labor)+M(material)+P(profit)
其中C=l+m,要求P是否大于150,000？

条件一：C(L+M)=3M, 所以L=2M, 即3M+P=500,000
因为M和P的关系不详，所以条件一无法结论，故INSUFFICIENT；
条件二：P大于L(即2M）。L+M+(>2M)=500,000，可知L+(>3M)=500,000, 但仍然不详L和M的关系，故INSUFFICIENT,

条件一+条件二：3M+P=500,000，并且P>2M,故3M+P>5M=500,000,5M>500,000，故M>100,000
，L>200,000,因P>L,故P>200,000，显然大于150,000，故两条件结合SUFFICIENT,
选C。

上述算错了，M<100,000,L<200,000, 故M+L<300,000，则P肯定大于200,000

500,000是什么呀？
profit不是等于gross profit减去cost么
我理解500,000就是总投入呀
所以怎么也算不出结果

这句话的意思是一家建筑公司一共收到了500,000的款项接活，也就是说刨去成本，剩下的钱就是PROFIT,所以人工+材料+利润就是500,000
