a manager distributed a number of pens,pencils and pads among staff, with each staff receiving x pens, y pencils and z pads.How many staff were in the department?

1, the number of pens, pencils and pads that each staff received were 2:3:4, respectively

2, the manager disteributed a tatal of 18 pens,27 pencils and 36 pads

为什么不肯以这样理解：2x=18 3x=27 4x=36 还有什么情况？

首先，x是铅笔的数量，lz是不能这样假设的，假设员工有a人。
（1）x：y：z=2：3：4
（2）ax=18 ay=27 az=36

假设法：1。 x=2, y=3, z=4, a=9
2。x=6,y=9,z=12, a=3

所以综合条件（1）（2）可以对出两个不同的员工数，所以这道题应该选E
