就是这道？题干式啥意思啊，谁能翻译一下，明天考试，极度恐慌中。。。
If 500 is the multiple of 100 that is closest to x and 400 is the multiple of 100 that is closest to y, which multiple of 100 is closest to x+y?
(1) x<500
(2) x<400
(A) statement (1) alone is sufficient;
(B) statement (2) alone is sufficient;
(C) Both
(D) Each
(E) Neither

500 is the multiple of 100 that is closest to x的意思是：x和100的整数倍的距离中，x和500的距离最小。
也就是说 450<x<550.
同理，另一句话的意思是 350<y<450.

另外，LZ你的条件二应该是打错了，应该是 y<400;因为你的条件2和题干是矛盾的。

我怎么连这个数学题干都没有读懂？谁帮忙翻译一下？
