选A，基本意思都明白，但是这句话读不明白It will beexposed and rendered harmless when other scientists conduct experiments and obtain disconfirmatory results.
看别的解释说意思是，当其他科学家之后做这个实验的时候它会检查到
但不是说render harmless, harmless了怎么会是disconfirmatory,应该是confirmatory呀。。纠结了

意思说：如果其他科学家做实验，发现了不一样的结果，那么原来科学家的结果中的问题就会被暴露，然后被后面的科学家根据新的结果加以更正，然后就对了。
