现在正在精读prep，这句话看了很多遍都理解不了。希望各位NN帮我解答一下啊！
they是做的studies的代词吗？为何觉得有点怪怪的-。-
dash后面的成分应该如何理呢? for example 指的是哪个部分呢？
finding修饰的是前面整句的话，那它的逻辑主语是studies还是they啊？它修饰的V是have found还是employ呢？
很崩溃，求助
