What's gone is gone for ever. Never dwell on the past sad affairs. Among my colleagues in the advisory dept. in one of big 4 firms（I myself work in the auditing dept.）, there is also a young lady who obtained her bachelor degree through self-taught study, since her original diploma was an associate degree. Assume that you've learned management advisory dept in big 4 Chinese firms also targets masters or MBAs graduating from top-tier univ. as potential employees. Hence, just do your utmost. Sometimes, we just need a little bit more luck.
Incidentally, opportunity comes when we are ready.

I guess you must have heard of CFA or CPA credentials. Get it, and it can more or less make up for your weak education background. Both CFA and CPA are highly valued in financial industry, including HSBC.
Meanwhile, finance is rather a broad concept. Could you plz tell us what your specific interest lies in? investment analysis, commercial banking or anything else?
