231. Xavier, Yvonne, and Zelda each try independently t solve a problem. If their individual probabilities for success are 1/4, 1/2 and 5/8, respectively, what is the probability that Xavier and Yvonne, but not Zelda, will solve the problem?

A. 11/8 B 7/8 C 9/64 D 5/64 E 3/64

始终想不通解释，他们每一个人独自解决问题的概率分别是1/4, 1/2, 为什么combine以后解决问题的概率反而变得很低了呢？

我算了一下答案是不是这样（1-5/8)*(1/2*1/4)=3/64. . 5/8是Z解决的概率，1-5/8=3/8 是z解决不了的概率，也就是xy要一起解决，两个人xy去取交集1/2*1/4=1/8两个人一起就是1/8*3/8=3/64 请指正
