我当时是这样想的，他的实验中中for most earthquake所得出的结论与总结两种地震形式中的the more common shallow events是一致的，换句话说，描述most earthquake的与shallow events是一致的，a few的就是与deep events是一致的，这样看来：

most earthquake<=>shallow events的特征：intervel quite short near epicenter/surface sharke strongest/a small area of intense shaking, weakened rapidly with distance from epicenter

好像挺费事儿，望指教

36题我选的A ，后来想了想，可能有两种情况，题目问的是at a given location,所以有两种情况，如果是shallow events那就说明离震中比较远，如果是deep events那就不用说了，肯定离地面远的很。所以不管怎么说都是focus比较远！

不知道这么想对不对，但似乎可以靠近答案。hoho~~

其次,如果是如你所说,那倒是提醒了我阅读中这种形式的存在.  (好像GWD-RC中唯一一次这种几乎完全的近似指代出现,不过反思其如是表达则逻辑和含义却也清晰.需要引起重视.)
