我昨天提交掉了。推荐信比deadline晚两天没关系吧？还有GMAT，可以拿到offer才寄official成绩单吧？

推荐信迟一点没有关系，不过可能会delay review process，因为需要另外花时间match your application and your recommendations。 GMAT应该不是到拿到offer之后才寄，因为committee会需要verify你的score。不过GMAT这件事情我不是很sure，你可以问一下committee的人。（BTW,为什么不现在就寄呢？如果已经考过的话还是尽早寄过去比较保险。）

Will Columbia regularly hold class tomorrow (Oct 09, 2006)? Because I want to visit a class and tomorrow is Columbus Day.

Yes, we'll have class tomorrow. And I suggest you go to admission office first (or other office? pls check online) to schedule a class visit. Otherwise some professors would consider random walk-in an improper behavior. Also, school staffs can help you get good professors and classes.

You must take the GMAT exam prior to submitting your application to Columbia Business School. Be sure to self-report your GMAT score when completing your application. In addition, if an offer of admission is made, you must submit an official score report via http://www.gmat.org (Columbia's ETS code is 2174, MBA department code 02). Please submit only the score you wish to be considered for admission decisions. GMAT scores are valid for five years.

不过，ED round是不是会特殊一点呢？

我这一年（class of 07)的确是拿到offer之后才寄gmat,toefl和大学成绩单的，推荐信就一定要交申请之前submit.

和很多哥大人都谈过，觉得他们真得非常真诚，非常谦虚，非常open。

真得很欣赏他们的氛围！

不管我最后结果怎样，我觉得这段经历对我非常重要，申请本身就对我非常有益。
