GMATPrep题一道，没被问过的

If $1,000 is deposited in a certain bank account and remains in the account along with any accumulated interest, the dollar amount of interest, I, earned by the deposit in the first n years is given by the formula I=1,000((1+r/100)ⁿ-1), where r percent is the annual interest rate paid by the bank. Is the annual interest rate paid by the bank greater than 8 percent?

(1) The deposit earns a total of $210 in the interest in the first two years

(2) (1+r/100)²>1.15

答案是A

我做这题时思路如下：

1。1,000((1+r/100)²-1)=210，可解出r

2。(1+r/100)²>1.15， 也可解出r

所以选了C，请nn指教，我错在哪里了？

第一，LZ似乎对DS题C和D的选项有点模糊

按你说的话，就选D了，而不是C

第二，解出（2） r>7.几，不能判定是否>8

哎呀，知道了，实在是做题时太想当然了！

我是这样算的(1+R/100)^2>1.15  =>  1+R/100>根号1.15   怎么能算出来>7.多呢? 谢谢了!

打错了吧

应该是1.08*1.08  =1.1664 >1.15  so n<8呵呵
