质疑两道OG的解释，苦求大牛帮忙

从句意而言，选择B可以理解为"sunspots被看成dark spots。这种dark spots从未在太阳的表面被观察到过。"   ---   或许暗指在太阳的内部被观察到过？

我的质疑是，为什么一定要contrast呢？B的句意本身没有问题啊。

94 是各自的values比,所以动词是可以省略的.

9 GMAT语法考试中，原句其实就把逻辑关系，句子主从关系定好了，这里原句有比较，那么B的比较丢失了就不对。以原文划线部分意思为参考。

94：我理解是这样的

按理说，比较丛句和主句谓语相同时，可用did代替。

那还有一条规则：如果比较丛句和主句的主语和谓语都相同时，那可以全部省去。常常保留作状语的介词短语或状语丛句。

这里按理说都省去也可以，但这里land values in most parts of the pinelands rose和land values  outside the pinelands rose的对称，这里有in most parts of the pinelands和outside the pinelands对land values的限定，如果省略可能意思就不清楚。所以保留了those代替重复出现的名词land values.即使要补出did也该补在最后面而不是LZ理解的those did outside the pinelands。
