These divisions have since been eliminated and no new people have joined the firm, but its workforce has decreased by only 15 percent.

(A) The three divisions that were eliminated were well run and had the potential to earn profits.

答案D。我觉得应该是E呀。题干说要裁员25%，这3个部门正好是25%劳动力，我理解是都裁掉了。可按照D的意思，却是只裁了一部分，其他人抽调到别的部门去了。

哪位给解释一下？谢谢。

MM应该是想歪了吧这里题目的意思就是说本来3个部门裁掉25％刚好打倒裁员目标结果发现没有招新人却只减少了15％的员工所以有10％员工是被其他部门消化了 E答案没有提到这10％员工所以不能解释该现象

里面有一个小trick，原文中没有提到那些人被菜掉得部门里得人是怎么安置得
部门可以被关掉，但是人还是可以转移到其他部门去得嘛，这样以来总人数不就没怎么减少了吗
