作题的时候遇到一个问题，就是有些句子不知道怎么翻译，以至于找不到正确答案。

Some Canadian metropolitan areas have only one-quarter the unmber kilometers of superhighways per capita as United State metropolitian areas--and at least as much resistence to constructing more suburbanization of peoples and functions is less entensive north of the border than south.

翻译了整天了，也译不出。这句话好像还是一个问题的答案，问的是美国和加拿大哪一点是相同的。

MM的这个句子抄得不对吧.这样是翻不出来的.
查了一下,原句应该是
Since Canadian metropolitan areas have only one-quarter the number kilometers of superhighways per capita as United State metropolitian areas--and at least as much resistence to constructing more---- suburbanization of peoples and functions is less extensive north of the border than south.

意思是: 因为加拿大的大城市人均超高速公路的长度只有美国的1/4-------至少同样的抵制修建更多的-----人们和功能的郊区化在边界的北方没有南方广阔.

问题好像是关于相同点的吧-----就是破折号里面的.
