今天收到一封mail,竟然是CMU对新生都有mentoring program,非常的有趣,也很人性化。和大家分享一下:
On behalf of the Tepper class of 2007, we would like to congratulate you on your recent acceptance to the Tepper School of Business. Colin and I are part of the class of 2007 and we, along with the rest of the class, look forward to welcoming you to campus in the fall.
Moving cities and heading back to school can seem overwhelming at times. We know how it feels; we were in your shoes just one year ago. It is likely that you will have a lot of questions about Pittsburgh and the Tepper community. In order to ease your transition, we've set up a Mentorship program to help you along the way. The Mentorship program is designed to help integrate first and second-year classes to ensure that all students can best maximize their experience at Tepper. From apartment questions, to reviewing your resume, to advice on classes and career paths, the mentors will be available to help you figure it out.
In an attempt to match you with a current student who has similar interests or background, we would like to ask you a few questions. Below is a link to a brief questionnaire. If you could take about five minutes to fill it out, it will help us know a little more about you. Once we have some information about you, we'll pair you up with a mentor and someone will be contacting you shortly.
The form is available at: https://student-3k.tepper.cmu.edu/countdown/mentorform.asp. Please note that you will need your login/password for the admitted student website in order to access this form.
Again we would like to welcome you to the Class of 2008, and look forward to meeting you in person. If there are any questions we can address in the meantime, please don't hesitate to send either of us an email.
