Full Time Top10 or Evening Top3x?

其实我自己已经决定了，但是想听听大家的意见和看法。
full time意味着放弃两年的收入和花光所有的财产。我现在美国，在一家fortune50(不是500)的公司有一份非常稳定的工作，年收入约$80K。已经买了房子。如果愿意的话，公司会资助我读一个当地的evening MBA，大概排名30多吧。公司也在为我申请绿卡，本人也已经有加拿大的绿卡。

TOP10全职: 更大发展空间(尤其是转行+校友接触), 但机会成本大.

TOP3X兼职: 杀鸡不用牛刀, 帮助公司/行业内晋升, 无经济负担.

关键是看LZ看重长期还是短期的回报了.

说实话，俺读mba也是为了去美国公司工作。年薪80K已经不错了。公司资助的话挺好的，而且说明你在公司发展不错。我个人会选择工作和evening MBA。

Depends on how old you are, how aggressive you are, how much risk you want to take, how much you like or dislike your current industry/function area, and how good your family live is if you have family.

I know you already made up your mind and just want to get a confirmation.

Just do what makes sense to you.

Thanks all for the inputs.

I am just turning 32 and not afraid of taking risk. I personally chose
to go to Top 10 with full time. I do like the industry I am in -
semiconductor, but do not want to stuck with engineering field of it
for ever. There is promotion opptunity in current position, but will be
mainly limited to technical path. I hope an MBA will help me prepared
to get into Venture Capital. Thanks to the hot real-estate market in
US, I will have enough money to pay for my MBA and support my family
with a decent life even during the school years. And my wife fully
supports me, no matter what option I chose. Overall, I believe a Top
MBA will give me a better Return Over Investment because of the
systematic business education, brand name, alumni network, and
the obvious gap between my background and my future career aspiration.

shake hands with LZ. smart choice. 80K is nothing for you. Given your
strong resolve, you will easily double or triple that amount after
a top 10 b-school. Good luck!

我建议lz去读一个one year program with a full time offer from your company. 我有个朋友和lz情况差不多的，就这么解决了。比如kellogg的听说就不错，特别是如果公司和家里距离chicago比较近。
