求助：GWD31-Q15 ！！！

A 是正解，我的问题是：第一：A它是不是少了个by 呢？要和前面的by drawing 对应啊，或者说 by 是可以省略的吗？我记得好像是不能省略的啊？纠结。。。第二：D 中的错误除了 for generating 错误之外，其他还有错误吗？instead of 是不是必须直接加doing 呢？这个by是不是应该去掉啊。。

“by drawing their body heat directly from the Sun rather than burning calories to generate it”
这句话应该是这样理解的：
R这个东西吸收热量的来源是直接来自太阳（的能量），而不是燃烧卡路里来得到热量。
所以rather than后面的内容不是和吸收热量平行对称，而是和来自太阳对称。

Jamesshzd，不一定都是动名词形式就一定要是对称，句子的含义要求高于一般的语法规则，请仔细读这句话，
R吸收热量来自于太阳，而不是（吸收热量）来自于燃烧卡路里，因此燃烧卡路里和太阳平行，是R吸收热量的来源。

这句话应该是这样理解的：
R这个东西吸收热量的来源是直接来自太阳（的能量），而不是燃烧卡路里来得到热量。
所以rather than后面的内容不是和吸收热量平行对称，而是和来自太阳对称。

首先，GMAT选择的是相对正确的解。A中没有by确实不是很完美，但是比D的表达还是略胜一筹的。因为instead of在G的语法中算awkward的表达。
