I paid price for neglecting IELTS

I paid price for neglecting IELTS. just an hour ago I received letter form the IELTS testing organization, the score was 6.5; reading 7.5, speaking 7, writing 6,  listening 6. in fact I could have done better, but in the exam I made two major mistakes in listening and writing.

I have been spending all my time on GMAT and spent just 6days  for IELTS exam. I thought it would be ok, but     ai ----  upsetting - -. I am sitting GMAT on 29th, so far it  looks not very good.

does anybody tell me how long it takes to get TOFEL score after taking exam. I am thinking of taking TOFEL if GMAT score is ok. I have to get the result at the beginning of May so that I can still catch the last deadline of some schools.

Do you have an ideal how long I should prepare for TOFEL 600+, subject to the score of IELTS. What do you think about 3weeks?

Based on you IELTS scores and days of preparation, I think two weeks are enough for you to get 600+ in TOEFL.

可是你打算在哪里考呢？BEIJING的5月14号的报名基本没有希望了。

拿到tofel成绩需要 2周+2~6周 吧

你可以去gter问问。

如果在国内的话，感觉基本不太可能了，因为5/14的TOEFL早就满了，不太可能在5月初拿到成绩。SIGH，就是因为这样我才不得已打算申请明年的program.

但是，如果申请英国学校话，应该还有希望，哪怕是拿一个conditional offer也有缓冲时间嘛

I am sorry for late reply, I haven't got internet connection in my room, so I have to go to an internet cafe in a library and they are open on certain days. I am in London at the moment.

I will find the available date in London. hope there is still a room for me. but after GMAT.
