Two experimental garden plots were each planted with the same number of tomato plants. Magnesium salts were added to the first plot but not to the second. The first plot produced 20 pounds of tomatoes and the second plot produced 10 pounds. 答案是E，为什么C不对，也算是他因

C的意思说4种不同种类的番茄以相同比例同时种在两个试验田里。
实际上还是完全相同的样本，并不影响试验结果。而E说道了两个样本的不同导致了试验结果不同。才是正确答案。
比如：两个试验田同时种20% 大番茄，20%小番茄，20%甜番茄。20%酸番茄。

我逻辑很一般喔。
我觉得题目里既然给的是2个PLOT的产出比较。
那么答案里也一定会有比较的。

而C并不存在差异性的比较呢。

E才是正确答案。

至于句子的理解楼上已经说啦。
