46. A study of marital relationships inwhich one partner's sleeping and waking cycles differ from those of the otherpartner reveals that such couples share fewer activities with each other andhave more violent arguments than do couples in a relationship in which both partners follow the same sleepingand waking patterns. Thus, mismatched sleeping and waking cycles can seriouslyjeopardize a marriage.
Which of thefollowing, if true, most seriously weakens the argument above?
(A) Married couples in which bothspouses follow the same sleeping and waking patterns also occasionally havearguments that can jeopardize the couple's marriage.
(B) The sleeping and waking cycles ofindividuals tend to vary from season to season.
(C) The individuals who have sleepingand waking cycles that differ significantly from those of their spouses tend toargue little with colleague sat work.
(D) People in unhappy marriages havebeen found to express hostility by adopting a different sleeping and wakingcycle from that of their spouses. D
(E) According to a recent study, mostpeople's sleeping and waking cycles can be controlled and modified easily.

答案是D。 这里是想表达,因为婚姻不幸福,所以行动不一致。 而不是因为行动不一致,所以导致婚姻不幸福。 是这样吗?

Yes,correct.

From the stimulus, we can figure out it is a question about extract casual-effect relationship from a correlation relationship. Logic flaws can always exist in this kind of line of reasoning. If you want to dig, you can have more than one.  Reverse Cause and Effect is one of them.

Others include false causal relationship, the third factor, and any thing that can open the gap between the premise and conclusion.
