e中，首先understanding of the needs and problems of labor 与原文中的an experienced labor organizer and the former head of one of the nation’s most powerful labor unions 应该是有gap的。另外，only 这里也太绝对了，

我认为b是正确的，既与工会关系好，又和对立面打的火热，是一个合适的人选

可是如果你把这道题当作assumption题，你会选哪一个，无可非议是E，因为如果你把E否定掉，那末A--->B的过程就可能不成立，而B选项，即便他与对立面关系很好，可是如果有另外一个候选人比他和对立面的关系还好，但是和工人阶级关系不怎麽样，那末到底谁当主席呢

strengthen 和 assumption 是不同的，strengthen 不需要是必要条件，只要是沿推理过程走就可以了，而且我认为assumption的选项是不能作为strengthen的答案的。

e中An understanding of the needs and problems of labor 和文中提到的当了多年领导概念是不对等的。所以，即使是说它是假设也是不对的。

對E選項的 "only" 還是很疑惑...

假如題目的conclusion改成 "Grayson is the only choice to chair the new council..." 的話, 我會毫不猶豫的選E.

可是題目只是說 he is an excellent choice", 那麼限定"the only qualification "不是太絕對了嗎?

請牛牛們賜教...

strengthen里，绝对才好呀！分解一下是这样的：

了解labor oganization是唯一做chair的必须条件-->(assumption)-->{G做过labor oganization的head-->G是一个绝佳的候选人}

中间省略的assumption是：做过labor organization的head就会了解labor oganization。而common sense，这个assumption是成立的。所以E能够去strengthen{}里面的东西。

但是E肯定不能做assumption,因为它太绝对了。也许并不是因为了解Labor oganization使得G qualify的，而是在labor organization里有network。

不知道分析的对不对，请指教。

分析一下BCE,

B正确的assumption是：a record of good relations with business leaders是成为excellent choice to chair the new council on business-labor relations的因素；

E正确的assumption是:an experienced labor organizer and the former head of one of the nation’s most powerful labor unions会understand the needs and problems of labor。

其实这两个个答案正确都是需要assumption的。但是看起来E的assumption会来得common sense一些。所以就选了它。

不知道这个是不是就是我为什么做LSAT题比GMAT题顺手很多得原因。总觉得LSAT里面绝对不要你去assume什么，直统统的。而GMAT要你去assume很多东西，而assume的东西就是主观的，就是不严谨的。而且我搞不清什么时候要去assume,什么时候不能去assume（因为有很多时候又会说题目里没有的东西都不能去assume)。 高手能不能给我点建议？这个我能怎么提高？

btw,不知道是不是大全ABCD不是ETS出的？里面确实太多东西不是特别严谨。(不是说这题不严谨）。
