选c...e只是说个别的服装没有遭受recession的影响，但不能解释第一年信用下降但第二年迅速上升的原因。c的意思是第一年有资金危机的都淘汰了，这能解释第一年信用下降，第二年因为留下来的企业是好企业，所以信用度也就上升了

还有，c里面的 “before the start of the recession” 不在讨论范围内啊。。为什么选C呢？

过去两年是经济危机，:
在第一年，批发商发现给零售商的应收款的按时回收率直线下降，
但是到了第二年，却回到了危机之前的正常水平。
这就是一个需要解释的现象，为什么过去两年都是危机的情况下，第二年的回收率正常了。
读懂题目，只要扫一遍选项，应该就很容易的看出C给出了解释，因为信誉不好的零售商在第一年都倒闭了，第二年只剩下信誉好的了。

我觉的关键在于一个细节，proportions, 是比例变化了，而不是绝对数量，C对，因为暗示第一年所有次级信贷债务人都被灭了，因此第二年优质信贷债务人比例上升，从而还贷率上升
