答案D 没问题只是这个宾语从句的that 可以省略吗？非常感谢！

忘了说，原题里是没有那个红色的that的。

我感觉这个discoverd短语是个插入语修饰前面的吧，不存在宾语that一说吧。
看到介绍时说宾语从句的that不能省略，定于从句有时候可以

不用加that，或者说是肯定不能有that，有了就是错句子，researchers have discovered作插入语，修饰整个句子。
