A toy store regularly sells all stock at a discount of20 percent to 40 percent. If an additional 25 percentwere deducted from the discount price during aspecial sale, what would be the lowest possible priceof a toy costing $16 before any discount?
答案是$7.20
og上给的解释是$16*0.6=$9.60是40%的折扣接着是$9.60*0.75=$7.20是第二次25%的折扣。
我想请教的是discount是不是和中文的折扣不一样啊？
英文的dicount of 40%是不是就是中文的打了6折啊？
请赐教~~~NN们啊
