The answer is E
C:Why must they buy goods whose prices tend to rese especially fast?Why not buy other goods?
E:we can infer that their children will decrease the money to supplement the income of elderly parents.Consequently,the elderly citizens are no better off financially.

因为如果买inflation增长快的东西的话,这些物品的价格很高,钱不当钱用,所以对生活没什么改善。记得OG上的答案就是这样的。

These goods and services meet the specia needs of many senior citizens.Thus we can infer that these old people have to buy these goods and services.

退休者需要子女的补贴,但是仅仅达到一个舒适的水平。即使退休金增加了20%,子女依然只会补贴到舒适的水平。并没有能够是退休者的财政水平达到well being。
