实在想不通为什么选B，而且B的中文翻译也让我觉得和B搭不上。Because a majority of commutersdrive at least 100 miles a week，是翻译成顾客必须每周至少跑100英里吗？我理解成是因为顾客每周至少跑100英里，那个必须是怎么翻译出来的？

The company's plan is to make purchasing electric vehicles more attractive.In order to weaken the conclusion,we can just point out that the plan may make eclectric vehicle less attractive because the plan would increase the electric-vehivles' price.B选项没有must的意思.Because consumers drive at least 100 miles one week,they can meet the standard easily to rent conventional cars,making the plan's cost very high.

还有我理解的是这个the plan's prospects for success就是成功的吸引了顾客，那按照你的说法B只是让厂商觉得会觉得亏，而顾客觉得是赚到了，那不还就是B反而是加强了吗？
我还是不太懂啊，麻烦继续解释下吧

中文解释肯定错了，the plan's prospects for success，是计划成功的前景，也就是是否能够成功吸引顾客，b的意思是，尽管计划一方面是能够吸引顾客（免费租车），但是厂商最终是要盈利的，它会把免费租车的成本通过提高电动车价格来维持利润，也就是说价格会提高，这样消费者购买电动车的欲望又会下降，所以计划两种效应会抵消的，削弱了结论

dengts is right.

The argument claims that the an electric vehicle manufacturer is trying to lure customers by making an offer to provide a free car rental every 1000 miles.

Since it is a weakening question, we need to find one reason, among the answer choices, that might make the offer less attractive to prospective buyers.

If B is true, the manufacture has to increase the price for the electic car in order to cover the cost of the free car rental. Whenever the price goes up, the buyers go away. Thus, B is the answer.
