答案A 为什么D不对呢？难道是改变了原来的意思？我怎么知道原句表达的意思是什么。。。

俺不是NN，不过第二题D的错误很明显，D选项的as后面的主语变成了its return，前半句的主语是 Halley’s comet ，比较对象不平衡了捏

顶一下自己，希望有人能看看这道雨珐题。。。A D主语都是its return 为什么要用in 而不用of 呢？

见到as一定注重对称平衡的美感!
In no other historical sighting 是前面的，in its return of 1910-1911 选项里面是不是只有个这个东东才能保持和前面的对称，as后主谓同前可省略。

第一题也是个对称美的问题，重点看or前后

C. cousins, often green and striped, or they have plenty of bumps and bruises, although they are
D. cousins; they are often green and striped, or with plenty of bumps and bruises, although

A ADJ. OR V ;
C ADJ. OR CLAUSE;
BD ADJ. OR WITH 不知道对不对，但后面这个although +adj.太猛了，绝大多数情况下although要+完整clause。
E they are..., or have..对称。比其他几个好，正确。
