第一道语法：
M was a british colony for 200 years, excepting for the domains of administration and teaching, the English language was never really spoken in the island.
B. except in
C. but except in
D. but excepting for
E.with the exception of
正确答案C，为什么呢？从句子结构，及用词方面。用个but,此句就不是两个主语了么，我总觉得前面有个M was, 后面有个the English was

数学三道
1. 70，75，80，85，90，105，105，130，130，130
From the list, if the standard deriation of hte 10 running times is 22.4 seconds, how many of the 10 running times are more than 1 standard below the mean of the 10 running ?
答案Two
貌似考试的时候有很多这种题，完全不会做，什么叫more than 1 standard below the mean of ...如果计算太难发上来，可以用文字讲解嘛，非常感谢！！！
2. line L and line K intersect at the point (4,3). Is the product of their slopes negative?
1)the product of the x-intercepts of line L and K is positive
2)the .........................y-intercepts ...........................is negtive
答案C.Both together，完全没有思路。也不知道题意读明白没有。
3. if x and y are points on the number line, what is the value of x+y?
1) 6 is halfway between x and y
2) y-2x
答案A:1)alone,我怎么觉得得两个加一起才能推出来呢。

其实句子后半部分应该是....., but the English language was never really spoken in the island except in the domains of administration and teaching. BUT 连词，连接两个独立的句子，主语不一样没有关系的。我的理解哈。

数学第一题，先算出平均数为100，题目问的是这是个数中和平均数的离差超过一个标准差且小于平均数的数有多少，自然只有70和75

more than 1 standard below the mean of ...是说在平均数以下的一个标准差以外，这题平均数是100，标准差22.4，则是找比100-22.4=77.6小的数，2个。

2)the .........................y-intercepts ...........................is negtive
假设两条线斜率分别是a,b,问a*b是否负由条件1，2可分别推出a,b的正负

3. if x and y are points on the number line, what is the value of x+y?
1) 6 is halfway between x and y
2) y-2x
条件1，6是x,y的中点，则x+y=6*2

第二题是给出了再Y和X轴上的截距的关系，分情况讨论就出来的了。
第三题A，由题，6-X=Y-6，肯定X+Y=12
