关于会计博士就业的一些问题

1.四大招会计博士吗？或者说会计博士有进四大的吗？进了一般做什么？

2.会计博士除了做faculty,进工业界多吗？一般刚开始进去是什么职位？是不是没有从
四大回到工业界的会计硕士们有竞争力？

请教大家，多谢！

Their biggest concern is the English skills of international students. The speaking English of most Chinese students without experience in English-speaking countries is really weak, while many programs require phd students to teach undergraduate courses independablely in the third year. That's also the reason most international students would be interviewed before admitted.

还是有的，SEC,FASB，四大的研究机构，还有一些NGO。但进这些地方的通常都是有工作经验的。我的一个老师从UNC毕业后在一家consulting firm做了11年，但她本来就是从四大出来的又在industry好多年。

top private schools won't care too much about whether you have a master degree or even any accounting knowledge, if your undergraduate academics are superior enough; most public schools need to TA's right after you are enrolled, and thus prefer students with enough accounting background or even CPA; the more teaching-oriented the programs are, the more they emphasize such requirement.
