给的答案是E,但是不知道E里面的it 指代的是什么啊？还有，C是不是错在啰嗦捏～～？

it 指代的是前面的what they eat.
C的问题在于time when...这个是一个时间内容，前面是食物，两者不具有并列的条件。

嗯，同意ls的，只有E是最符合平行的结构，C读起来太怪了，很啰嗦

C虽然结构看似平行，但是不如E简洁有效，E是两个平行的宾语从句最优。而且C后面是被动非常不好，一般主动为优。

请教：the foods对吗？the 后边可以跟复数吗？还有，对于的指代我搞不懂，我认为it指代foods，但是foods是复数. 请大牛指教！

A by 后面一个是food 名词。。。一个是从句。。不平行

你看看E。。两个都是从句。。用得多整齐呀。。。所以E咯。。。
