答案是E，没有理解per capita consumption的意思，感觉B也不错啊。

E：从1980到1989，总人数增加了6%，但鱼消费量总数增加仅4.5%，说明平均每人的消费量下降了。

B选项，有很大迷惑性。鱼或肉的consumption多少与它们是否是major part of diet是无关的。

归纳题。
per capita consumption 人均消费量

consumption不等于吃了，只是消耗掉了。经常有类似的题，好像还有个卖冰激凌的题也是类似的。

A profits of wholesale 文中没提到。
B consumption不等于吃了，只是消耗掉了。
C百分数，比率不等于实际数字，出现类似，一般不对。
D得不出
