Math 21-#23:
on a certain transatlantic crossing, 20% of a ship's passengers held round-trip tickets and also took their cars abroad the ship. If 60% of the passengers with round-trip tickets did not take their cars abroad the ship, what percent of the ship's passengers held round-trip tickets?
A. 33%
B.40%
C.50%
D.60%
E.66%
答案是C，可我根本不知从何下手。谢谢帮忙解答了~


Math 24-#18

The annualinterest rate earned by an investment increased by 10 percent from last year tothis year. If the annual interest rate earned by the investment this year was 1percent, what was the annual interest rate last year?

A. 1% B. 1.1% C. 9.1% D. 10% E. 10.8%

答案是C，可我算出来的是A。答案有没有错呀？

(2) Q=8
答案是E。我选的是C，觉得两个放在一起能成立。

第一题说所有人中，20%的人有票子而且把车aboard。后面说有票子的人没有把车aboard，换言之，有票子的人中间，40%把车aboard。我们假设一共X人，有票子的Y人。20%*X=40%*Y推得：Y/X=50%

第三题我也觉得有问题，我觉得应该是B，因为显然，A alone肯定不可以~然后如果Q=8，那么只要Q是正整数，那他除以8肯定是有限的小数，而且只有这么几种可能：.125 .375 .5 .625 .875而且小数位ONLY CONTAIN NON-ZERO DIGIT.哪怕Q<

.然后，即使Q是P的倍数，那么Q/P就是正整数了，那么他的小数位有0个非零数，依然是finite！所以我觉得是B！

设总人数为X，持双程票的总人数为Y。
在Y中，有60%的人托运车，有40%的不托运车。则持双城票而不托运车的人数为40%Y。
又根据题意，占总数20%的人持双城票且托运车，则持双城票且托运车的人数为20%X。
有20%X=40%Y
推出Y/X=50% Y/X就是持双城票的人数占总人数的比例。

第二题我也算出是0.91%，算法如下 I为investment,投资总额
I*[1+X(1+10%)]-I =1% I
等式两边消掉I
1+1.1X-1=0.01

1.1x=0.01

X=0.91%

我也怀疑等号右边是否该为10%，那么就是1.1X=0.1, X=9.1%
